During my recent stay at Hotelli Helmi in Turku, I found it to be a sensible choice for travelers seeking comfort without overspending. The hotel boasts a prime location just a 10-minute walk from the old town, providing convenient access to attractions and public transportation. I appreciated the spacious room equipped with air conditioning, good heating, and a flat-screen TV, which contributed to a comfortable experience. The bathroom featured underfloor heating, a nice touch that kept my towels dry overnight. Though the amenities felt slightly outdated, everything was well-maintained and functional. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, yet it did get crowded-even on weekdays, so finding a table could be a challenge. Hotelli Helmi strikes a reasonable balance between luxury and affordability, making it a solid option for anyone exploring Turku. A repeat visit would be in the cards for my next adventure!
